Old, classic, grindy MMORPG. This note is about RuneScape 3. There is also [Old-School RuneScape](…/Old-School RuneScape/) (OSRS), an older and more popular version of the game. Members can log into either version (though only one at a time).

Archaeology training

• If I am able to complete a collection within the next few levels, I tend to collect the artifacts in the bank and deliver them to the collectors in one go, to save travel time.
• Order of excavations:
  • Autopsy table - The RuneScape Wiki

Ancient curses

• If not activated, go to Varrock dig site, activate ancient curses at the temple below ![[assets/Pasted image 20230618191635.png]]

Strategy

• Fill up on prayer points
• Switch to Ancient Curses (for the Soul Split prayer)
• Switch to the Standard spellbook (for the Slayer Dart spell)
• Go to Fremmenik dungeon > Turoths
• Ensure Auto-retaliate is on
• Activate “Soul split”
• Right-click Slayer Dart in your spellbook and select “Set Auto-cast”
• Repeat every 6 minutes:
  • drink aggression potion

• Cap at the Clan Citadel in order to receive the Fealty bonuses.
  • After collecting the resources, talk to the guildmaster in the keep (inside the second door).

Slayer point farming

Equipment

• Headhunter’s Sacrifice - ring that gives an 11% chance to skip a kill
• Light source
• Aggro potion - for ghosts
• Wicked hood - death altar teleport
• Skull sceptre - Stronghold of Security teleport
• Dungeoneering Cape - for zombies/skeletons
• Runes for NPC Contact (Cosmic, Astral, Air)

Strategy

• Get all tasks from Jacquelyn, except every 10th
• Cave bugs and cave slimes require a light source
• Ghosts can be easily reached using the Death Altar teleport of the Wicked Hood, or in the Stronghold of Security (use a Skull Sceptre for easy teleport there), or the Taverley dungeon
